Sayonara, Dull and Boring Meetings

AvalonBay Communities held tons of meetings and recognition events but always in the typical hotel conference room. This year, Brandie was looking for a new, exciting location.
She found a Meeting & a Movie!
In the morning, AvalonBay Communities held their company-wide meeting at the movie theatre, then treated employees to a Hollywood hit in the afternoon.
Brandie was able to hold a meeting that gave associates the opportunity to get together, socialize and recognize one another. On top of that, they got to watch a blockbuster film!
And Regal made it easy:
- Staff helped pass out gift cards to employees.
- A/V technicians set up everything.
- Small hiccups were resolved by the on-site meeting manager, and any issues were dealt with promptly.
“I got really great feedback, and everyone was excited to have a day where they could relax and watch a movie. I would definitely have another meeting at the movie theatre. Our on-site coordinator went above and beyond—working with the sound guy, staying the whole time, making sure everything was perfect. She gave me lots of options. She was great.”
